Edria Johnson was born in Denver, CO just before her parents were stationed in Germany.  Following her parent's traveling tradition, Edria has lived in Europe and many different cities within the United States. In her professional life, she has worked at the post office, became an X-Ray technician specializing in special procedures, owned a travel agency and finally went to work for American Airlines in 1979.   In 2003 she retired from American Airlines and opened an assisted living home with her business partner Barbara Rose.  She holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing and a MBA in Global Management.  Edria is married, with five children and four grandchildren.
